About this site

This is the on-line workspace and portfolio of John B. Pendleton. I have been designing, developing, producing commercial sites since 1995 and maintain this web presence as a resource center and presentation point. With the exception of seven stock photos, I am solely responsible for all of the graphics (creation / animation / manipulation / optimization), writing, design, layout and coding on this site.

The site makes use of JavaScript, Flash and other features that are supported by current versions of all main browsers. All code on these pages is written exclusively by hand and (with the exception of the homepage and two internal pages displaying specific techniques) is 100% compliant with the W3C standard for 1.0 transitional XHTML and ADA requirements. It has NOT been tuned for SEO.

Because this site functions as a laboratory and showcase, the interface is not in line with what I create for commercial sites. I have chosen what I hope is a clean, simple look, designed from a minimalist perspective.
